Custom Private Sri Lanka 10-Day Journey

Start with a conversation rather than a brochure. Tell us whether you are drawn to rock fortresses, misty tea estates, leopard country or quiet southern beaches, and a ten-day private route takes shape around you, beginning and ending in Colombo with a car and driver throughout.

Overview

Ten days is enough to see Sri Lanka’s contrasts properly without rushing them. The island is compact, yet within a few hours’ drive the dry plains of the Cultural Triangle give way to the cool, terraced hills around Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, and then drop again towards the wildlife parks and the palm-lined south coast. A custom journey lets you decide how much of each you want, and how fast you want to move between them.

Some travellers want every ancient capital; others would rather trade a temple day for a second safari or an extra morning on the ramparts of Galle Fort. Monsoon timing matters too: the south-west is at its best from December to April, while the east coast comes into its own from May to September, so the route is drawn around your travel dates as much as your interests.

The outline below shows one well-balanced shape for a first visit. Treat it as a starting point to reshape, shorten or redirect entirely.

This route is a suggestion rather than a fixed package: the order, pace and hotels are tailored to you, and nothing is booked until you confirm.
