Account privacy
We treat your and your family’s birth details as private information.
What we store
- Account: your name, phone number (to sign in), a secure hash of your password (never the password itself), your email address if you gave one, and a Google account ID if you sign in with Google.
- Birth details: for up to 5 people you add — name, date, time and place of birth, and the town they live in now.
- The time you last signed in and the date the account was created.
How we protect it
- Birth details are encrypted in the database; the key is kept separately on the website’s server.
- The connection is protected by HTTPS. After 5 wrong password attempts the account is locked for 15 minutes.
- Only you can see your dashboard and details.
What we never do
- We do not sell or share your data or use it for advertising.
- We do not send SMS or promotional messages without your permission.
Your choices
- At any time, on the account page, you can change your details, download your data as a JSON file and delete the account completely.
- Add family members only with their permission. Children’s details may only be added by a parent or guardian.
