Overview
This is Geoffrey Bawa’s former Bentota Beach Hotel, built in 1967–69 between the Bentota River and the Indian Ocean. It reopened as Cinnamon Bentota Beach in December 2019 after a full refurbishment. It has 159 rooms and 16 suites, the Kurundu spa, several restaurants, and river activities such as mangrove boat rides.
